This is my TA05. I think the drewback of TA05 is its weight. So my TA05 equiped with Ti wheel axie, screw and Al screw. When it equiped with new short 415 arm, it weight is 1338g without cell and wheels. That means when you put those on, full weight is about 1535g. Maybe this number is some kind of joke for others, but for TA05 maybe reached its limit.
This is the other side. I love TA05 because its special characteristic...position of the motor is near the center of car. According my experience, the corner speed is easy to get higher when it out of the apex, especially on carpet course. Another thing, it is not good enough for drift...why? The motor position is too near center that make you tough to control your tail...too fast!!!
By the way...I am not at HK now.
This is with 414 arm...the old type arm. Because old arm was too heavy and some reason I need Al upright (made by square)...I pull down stabilizers and its seat. It was 1353g without heatsink, wheels and cell. But It still feeled good handling and head direction!!!
Maybe I talked too much, but many people think that TA05 is not suitable for TC racing. Yes, I agree with that. But after losing weight and upgrade...it is full of fun and attackable!!! I always use TA05 on 23T carpet race...because in outdoor asphalt course...it is too heavy when accelerate.
My YOKOMO BD is faster than TA05 0.5 second per circle at big outdoor course. But at carpet...TA05 is faster than BD 0.2~0.3 pre circle. Maybe all indoor carpet course are smaller which full with sharp corner and less straight...

唔洗扯火喎師兄!自己覺得架車好咪得囉,玩得叻又如何!又搵唔到食嘅
Play RC, no need to be "inch". I could have say, "live in 屯門, 又有幾叻o牙" You play an expensive RC car doesn't mean you 叻. Just that because you pay less rent or mortgage. I don't mean to attack you, but everyone is different in terms of value. Anyway, "inch" is a very bad attitude.
