installing lipo for 410 v3???

ching, just want to make sure that when i install the silverback saddle pack lipo for my 410 v3....do i need to take out the spur gear??? cause i try to push the lipo in by just moving the lipo holder, that won't work and already scratch the bottom of the lipo, then i take out the spur gear and the lipo can out in very easy...

Ofcause you have to took out the spur my friend, that's why they have to design a quick release spur.
