How much is your light system and where did you bought it?
Try to remove your light system and see if the esc still stop after played a few minutes, if does, that means your esc having problem, if not, change another set of light set and try...try...try...try... again and again until you found out whats problem.
Maybe is the light system computer bugs.

If you are using Litho battery, you need to be careful of which "C" you are using. I faced this kind of problem before using litho battery, problem solved with NiMH battery.
