How to set Kyosho car gyro R246

Ching, pls help how to set via transmitter? Thanks

Gyro cannot be set v ia transmitter. To set the gyro, you should turn the dial on the gyro to adjust max point, delay etc.

tt01E Ching, the gyro is made in Japan (Kyosho). the size is long and thin, only a button inside, can't dial. Have anyone hold this gyro?

Sorry, thawing I can't help you coz I use GY401 on my formula car, which is an gyro originally made for helis.

connect the R246 sensor pulg to CH3 on ur receiver, of cos need to connect with the servo and turn on ur transmiter's ch3 control, after that hold the button on R246 ("set" that button) the turn left and right on ur transmiter with the largest angel for the normal turn. then should be done.

After done but the gyro no reaction. I think I have do something wrong. My step is:
1. 4pk transmitter set DT3/DL3 to CH3
2. EPA Steering set to 100% for both left and right
3. CH3 set to 100% for both up and down
4. Then switch on ESC
5. Press and hold Gyro set button (white color button) and turn the transmitter to right and left in large angle.
6. Then release the set buttom
7. Set transmitter CH3 to 30% for both up and down
Finishing setting.
Pls instruct me what I wrong? Many thanks

since i'm using KO, i'm not sure about 4PK, but for the step 3, you try  set to 0 or 30%.

and for step 2 you can set the steering angle to largest. Futaba should be 150, right? once all done and normal then set back to actual need for the steering.

ALL Ching,
Actually, I have completed the settings and would like to share with you all or others new chings:
1. If using 4pk, go to menu, find DIAL feature, turn on DT3 to CH3
2. Set EPA - CH1 to 120 (Max) for both left and right side
3. CH3 remains 100 for both up and down
4. set Gyro R246 to Car
5. Place right direction (cable side face to rear of the car body)
6. Gyro cable, one to CH1 for steering, one (single white) to CH3
7. Switch on Car ESC
8. Press Gyro R246 set button (small white button at the centre of gyro) and then push the dial wheel to right side, some reaction will be shown, then left side, then release dial wheel and gyro set button.
9. change the setting of CH3 (from outside DT3 buttom) to -30 (negative 30 or 40...) up to your requirement. Because, I have not yet tested the result due to raining days, hope you all can share the good setting to us.
