想問下各師兄，普通1／8BUGGY係咪買個短房車殻同呔，再換硬彈弓，就可變GT架喇，但係短房殻邊樹有售呢？

但係我見第一直有架Q版麥拿侖，唔知係唔係Buggy黎?

我用2750KV MOTOR
想參考下 THX

2750KV - 4S

For JV or TRC,

Start 1000-2000RPM
Finish 5000-8000RPM

Acceleration Boost 3-5 Degree
Top Speed  Turbo 1-2 Degree
Slew Level            1

Throttle PWM 24000  - Very Important

Please use 2.8V per cell for Battery Proctection, 4S x 2.8V = 11.2V
Battery protection is very sensitive in Viper ESC

Be very careful with gearing for 1/8GT with 2600KV-2900KV 4S setup. Motor temperature gets very high (HOT) so must monitor motor temperature. Temperature must be below 85-90'C Better Use Cooling Fan on Motor.

JV or TRC

Team C GT8e  Std Spur Gear, 16T - 17T Pinion, 95mm Foam Tire, IF YOU run 100mm tire then must only run 16T Pinion

* Must be very careful with Motor Temperature because high motor temperature will Kill ESC as well. I run two cooling fan on motor. * I open many holes at body to direct fresh air to motor and esc. * Also run two laps on JV and TRC and come back and take temperature on esc and motor, try to keep temperature below 85'C *

Better not run drag brake because drag brake will make motor and esc run very hot.

Throttle PWM must be set at 24,000 not any lower, low PWM cause motor and esc to run hot too.

Kenneth what pinion and spur are you running with what KV motor? And tire size? PWM? Tenshock motor? Because Tenshock is 6Pole, must set 6Pole in ESC. Sorry that you burn a esc today.

DLLL - I am running 30wt Associated Shock Oil with 12 Degree Caster Block. 4 Degree front Camber and 0 Degree Rear Camber. Std car is very push into corner so need alot of front camber to make car turn.

Thx Ching! 我試過用70wt油，但架車側得好勁，已換硬彈弓，用foam呔

Hi PYC,

Then Viper is very funny, i went to HUng Sing and Viper's website, they all said must change the pwm to 32000 for high KV motor.

However the setting from stock is completely different. is like a trap. I listen to sop advice change the gear back to 46 and 16T.. not even 1 lap the car stop. so i quickly bring back to my room to check and try turn on again, then smoke came out...WTF?? I spend 16XX on a ESC and if doesnt even run 1 lap? I have used most other brand and try extreme gear ratio like 41/21T with all major motor brand and it works fine, not just fine is perfectly fine.

My friend did the same is if doesn't even run 1 lap and stop middle of the track and the esc start to burn off...IN REAL FIRE!!! Then he change back to an old esc with SAME setting, remember is same setting!! And it runs like there's no tomorrow.

What a disapointment!! Anyway I would highly recommend Viper look in to this and if any ching do want to try, THINK DOUBLE !!!:@:@:@

Speed is much better than previous run with original spur. Feel that I can increase pinion by 1 to 2 teeth.
