Running on 2S?  Which 1/8 buggy's motor mount can fit the 4700kV motor?

May be a bit too high kv.....

Light weight 1/8 buggy can use 550 long can SC motor, such as ten shock or tekin pro HD .... 4700kv, max 2s ...  Still work, but may be not powerful enough ...something 3000kv with 3s isn't bad!

Agree with 965 hing
Use between 2200 - 3300KV is more powerful for buddy

There is a new class of 1/8 E-buggy, called Super Lite.
The chassis is basically same as 1/8 E-buggy, only change is motor use SC (typical use Pro4HD) and 2S LiPo.

The speed is similar to 4S E-buggy, but run time is shorter. Handling is better, and more reliable (as weight is lower)

The SuperLite platform 1/8 E-buggy like EB48SL is more suitable for small track like Lali.
