T-Plug vs Dean Ultra Plug

They both look and work the same, but Dean is 3 times the price.  Yeah, Dean's are gold, and the after market T-plug are not.  

Any difference on resisdance?

If dean plug and T plug look the same how can you distinguish them ?

Dean has gold metal.  And Dean's packaging is different.
