For Team Losi, depends on the track condition but in most cases, the XX-4WE is a much better choice then the XXX-4, it just handle rough better then the XXX-4.
Regarding the ZX-5, with the batteries on one side of the car, the balance of the chassis are not ideal, all the later generation EP buggy are using saddle pack for this particular reason. However, the Kyosho are a very good beginner "competition level" 4WD buggy.
HPI D4 is a nearly identical copy of the Jconcept BJ4, which is the current world champion.
Just my 2 cents, if you like American style (Graphite Tub Chassis), go for the Losi XX-4WE. If you prefer the Japanese product, then the D4 and 501X are all good to try.
One last word, had been waiting for the EP buggy to come back into fashion for a long long time, now that you guys have a indoor track, go and enjoy it! 100% guarantee more fun then touring cars.. |
