For brushless motor, if you are playing 4WD, the best will be a 5.5 motor. And for 2WD, 7.5 turn will be the best. This is exactly what I am ausing to race in Thailand and it prove to be not just fast enough but also punchy enough. With an off the shelf pack of IB4200, I can have 10+ minutes run time on those combo.
Alot of you may not realize, for EP buggy you really don't have to spend alot in batteries, matching pack will be over kill in my opinion, just remeber one thing, there are only so much so you can go with your tyres up to a point that the traction give up. Off road are not like on road that it was always grippy and you need good batteries and super fast motor to win. Buggy are alot cheaper to race, the tyre normally last along time and if you are getting in EP buggy now, go and get yourself a set of brushless system, that will be money well spend.. |
