清理摩打一問

I am using tamiya bz 23t for my df03.

want to ask how to clean up the motor regularly... as I "feel" that it turns slower than b4........

need to take the interal part of the motor to clean thoroughly?

cheap and lazy way -> use a comm brush to clean the comm and change the brushes, run-in the motor with an old pack, lube the metal bushing
expensive and better way -> take apart the motor and clean with motor cleaner, use a comm truer to cut the comm, change the brushes, lube the metal bushing, use a motor checker to run-in the motor...if want more, get some alignment tools to ensure everything is aligned after re-assembled

wah!!! so complicated...
I prefer cheap and lazy way, some more ques:
1) what is comm ? (chinese name? thanks)
2) comm brush can be bought in KWS shop?
2) how much for the brushes?
3) use what to lube the metal bushing??

2. yes
3. cheap ones can be around $20.  Expensive ones can be much more.
4. metal bushing lube oil.  Can find in kws.
