Another XC Restoration Project (MU)

Ok people.......
After the Pajero, I am so "wired" to CC01 (XC) cars and can't resist to find another one.  I am in the market for either the CRV or MU and yesterday, my friend founded an MU and ask me to have a look.
So..... it was around 11:00 pm last night... went over and take a look...  it was kinda dark but I was able to tell a few things wrong with it....   the body is pretty shot (but no cracks), the rear glass is, sort of like melted which is very hard to find piece, the side mirrors are missing, the chrome is dirty..........  etc.  But as I looking at the whole thing, I feel like there is something wrong with this whole car!  But I didn't care, I want a MU!!  So I took it home.
When I got home, HOLY SHXT, the chassis is..... is..... Melted!  The whole thing is bent!  This is worse than the Pajero!  There were rust all over the place...... the gears has absolutely no grease what-so-ever.........  And I am thinking to myself, should I start or should I not.......  
But I DID!  Can't believe I am saying this but I am going to restore this MU......  First parts gathering, I think all I really need is the rear glass.  With the help of Brother J, he find one in UK but we are waiting for the seller's response at the moment.  Chassis, I do have an extra at home I can use.  I also need new tires as the ones are cracked.  I think I can find them in Chong Sing......
I am going to clean the parts to night and give you guys an update later!

And now I have a question for all brothers... You see this photo here?  I took the tires apart but there are some parts that leaves there..... I wonder what's the easiest way to take this "junk" off???  Please advise...

this mu seems 300% poor than the parjero b4.......did u got it in a very good price???

for the rims' issue.......sorry i dun have the expericence on it.....but i think using the cutter and sand paper may the best way to remove it.....using other thinner or materials......may hurt the chrome on the wheel...btw...the outlook of the "junk"ed part is not a matter la....because u have to put on a new tyre...can't see it la!!!!just threat it harder la!!

Brother J tells me to put them in boiling water....  might try that later....  
As for the chrome on the wheels, I will  have to paint it to alunium anyways so I need to take the paint off............

bro mike,

if u really wanna take the chrome off....i've got a method.......

use "漂白水" to remove it ........place the wheels into the  "漂白水" for minutes....all chrome will coming out ........and i think the "junk" u said b4 will also tear off maybe....use the original stonger one....dun make it in 1:99......beware of your hand....put on a glove to do so.....

Brother Mike, soak it in Nail Polish remover (Acetone, 亞司通) for a while, that should desolve the glue, but the finishing on the rims whould be gone too.

Thanks guys... I want to take the junk, and the paint off so that I can paint a coat of prime on and paint in alunium.......  Will let you guys know what comes out better as I have some other rims I can try on...

"漂白水" is work....trust me la!!!!

for the rusty metal parts.....i suggest u use both "brasso" and WD-40 to clean with....

sometimes i feel i'm just like "曾近榮".....tell somebodies to use xxx to clean this,......use yyy to clean that.......hahaha.....but i have to say: it's really work!!!HAHAHA..........

Mr. 曾 only tells people to use "Gor See Dick" for everything ga wor.....

Hey!  We are humans, no skin color difference!!    
Last time I cleaned the hood and she clean the rest....  She got nothing else to do anyways!!!
