it is pink sticker with black letters printed over.

oic...... I got it too......

do u have its diagram ....or manual or else ?

there are no marking with the angle of the bell ... after apart and clean ... it run not smooth....

Bro Frankie,
I found that we can use the tamiya DT02 parts to modify the RC10 so that it can use the 2.2" tryes or tamiya tryes.

1. Front wheels: Replace the RC10 uprights by DT02 or TA01/02's one. Need to add spacers. Part no.0555059, JPY420

2. Rear wheels: Replace the axle hub by DF02's one. Need to make the button hold a bit large and file out the button a bit.

just a wise guess only.......is it possible to use the Kyosho RB5 steering parts for replacement ??........coz' I trust Kyosho' plastic material more than Tamiya......

No idea on whether Kyosho RB5 parts can be used. I tried Tamiya DT02 only because I have it. The performance of my vintage RC10 is excellent, definitely out of my expectation, it is better than the new Tamiya DT02. An 1980's RC10 is better than a 2000's DT02.

I think RC10 with metal bath-tub chassis got better performance than the graphite one......coz' it has a better weight balance.....pls correct me if I am wrong.......

I suppose "the graphite one" that you mean is the graphite version Vintage RC10, not the B4. I don't have idea on which one is better. I like the RC10 gold pan only because it was my dream car when I was a kid.

yes....... I do love the gold pan......

but I only got the black one now.......plan to use it for hard-running soon......

BTW, any suggestions about the motor & gear ratio ??..... Thx !!

My hard-running RC10 uses black pig. I tried pinion 26T with a spur 81T (stealth 48 ptich gear case) and found that the motor was very hot. Bro Frankie said that the correct pinion gear should be from 18 to 22T. I then checked the manual and noted that the gear ratio of the stealth gear case is 2.25. So, the gear ratio that I used was 81/26 x 2.25 = 7. That was why it was very hot.

Overall gear ratio of
Pinion 18T = 10.125
Pinion 22T = 8.28

I think a gear ratio of around 8 to 10 is very reasonable for a 2WD buggy.

I have the MIP 4wd RC10, which was like a dream to drive, I have also tried 2wd rc10 but even in 2wd, rc10 is very pleasant to drive, almost as good as a modern day touring car in 4wd except 2wd rc10 cannot drift.   BUT, BUT, but I have seen Masami drifted a rc10b3 in one of the world championship ....

I think there are several different versions of MIP 4WD RC10 .........with chain drive ........& belt drive too.......

i m trying to get a good looking (and healthy) RC10 to u too.

i m looking this from ebay, any comment, and what price do u think and RC10 is reasonable? for sure i m not talking about a NIB one~
