Voltage Regulator / BEC

I just ordered a the novak crawler ESC
however it just supports up to 7 cells (8.4v max)

But I got some 9.6v battery packs which I dont want to rewire.
Can I use a BEC as a voltage regulator to lower the output from the battery pack?
Any recommendation?

你要改用support 9.6v 的 esc 較好喎.

I suggest you add heat sink before using 9.6V.

where should I add it?

Take off the shrink-wrap and then direct attectch the heat sink on the regulator IC (using RAM heat sink). final using shrink wrap to repack it.
