Where: Milestone Ranch MX Park, Riverside, CA
The Bajas we’re out to play at the Milestone Ranch MX Park in Riverside, CA last Saturday. The event is the 2nd of a 6 race series, featuring 1/5th scale Bajas! Milestone Ranch MX Park is an awesome track in Riverside, CA that is perfect for the Baja, throw in a cool mix of racers and you end up with a really cool day of running and racing.
There we’re hopped up Bajas everywhere you look. We had Tom from TeamphatdadRC showing off one of the most tricked out Bajas we have ever seen (...you can get you’re TeamphatdadRC goodies from DDM Racing @ www.davesmotors.com). In the next pit space was Gabe from GBE with the absolut coolest Baja tuned pipe ever (..and really cool aluminum hop up parts, check it out at http://gabebrownengineering.com/).
The program consisted of 2 10 minute qualifiers and 30 minute mains, with 2 bump up spots. The racing was fast and furious with Bajas everywhere and battles throughout the track. Congratulations to Moto Ishibashi for winning the B main, with Shaw Takahashi in 2nd and Tom Coulombe in 3rd. In the A main it was a long hard battle with fast guy Rodney Ketcham taking the win (...thanks for the tips and the bolt Rodney!), HPI R&D’s Satoru Terada took 2nd, with Derek Butterfield in 3rd. |
