Let me comment from what I read from you.
1.  Imax 6 (or similar devices like GT Power, E-Max .....)  has POOR peak detect design for NiMH, therefore I have highly NOT recommend to use IMax (or similar LiPO charger with NiMH charging function) charger to charge NiMH cells.  These machines will overcharge NiMH cells and cause permanant demage to NiMH cells !
2.  Using Cooling Fan to remove heat from charging packs will only cause further OVERCHARGING.  Again, we should STOP using it in charging !
3.  If the packs is fully charged, it is fully charged.  It doesn't mean a 4600 cells need to take 4600mAH charge UNLESS, it is discharged to 0.9v before charging.  Repeak the pack will only convert charge into HEAT only.
4.  Cells exploded are not exploded by themselves.  It is because shrink on the cells was melted open.  So cells are shorted to next cells and cause Short-circuit  and EXPLODE !!!

至於IB電......3A都爆.....就真係......可能入面真係有O的問題......

Totally agreed!

Apart from the substandard cells, such incidents are mainly caused by ignorance, especially putting a cooling fan in front of IB cells when charging.

Here is why explosion happened :

1.  Imax B6 overcharge the pack and the cells vented (a signal of overcharging).  It caused very hot cells.  At this moment, the cells are potentially unsafe.
2.  After fully charged, user continue to put charge in ... Cells are totally overcharged and unsafe.
3.  User use fan to cool the surface of the pack, it cause false idea to user, cells are not HOT.  But other than the area with Fan cool, all other area of the cells are extremely hot.  In this stage, shrink was starting to melt and open somewhere around the cells.
3.  After seeing the shrink open, cells are shorting to each other already.   Therefore, after few seconds, the pressure generated due to high discharge cause explosion.

今早我又攞排新電(IB-4600)來差,全程睇住,差到2750部機就叫.b.b.聲,顯示出FULL.你話係唔係玩野....

我用星星3300電,用左兩年幾,3A充電10A放電都無咩理佢放到幾多就停咁講究,一路到依家都無問題,會唔會玩得越專業D電仲死得快,反而粗粗地對佢好地地

好似NiMH爆得多過鋰電

華哥, 有無事呀, 我自己都係用Intellect 4600, 但係用橫電, 用4.5 差,都係比其他既電熱同成日都聽到氣孔放氣D 聲. 睇完你幅相好驚, 最重要人無事.

原來係咁,係人既問題

其實鋰電真係安全好多我覺得...
通常都係個條rule..
就係唔好玩到無哂電先收車,無乜力就收得...
我玩左咁耐都係壞左一個balance插 (其實係因為我拔插方法錯左)
所以強烈推薦你改用鋰電唷!

我排電都係差左4個字就full
