嘩! 正! 記得當年yokomo的05摩打有很多形號: 05S, 05R........ 吾知各形號有什麼分別?

05S, 05R are more like stock motors. 
05 twincam and twincam turbo are both for 1/12 4 minute qualifiing race. Those days 1/12 qualify by 4min race then final race at 8min, a real test of 1200mAh battery and driving skill. 
05RS turbo and twincam turbo were flat motor can, very special but lower torque due to the flat can shape.
That was about 1984 or 1985, US motors (e.g. reedy or trinity) were still balancing their rotors by drilling. Yokomo 05 series were balancing using epoxy add on, which is cheaper and easier to accomplish.  However, those mass production yokomo motors never really out-compete the 'master made' US motors, reedy were still on top of the game. |
